Fixing the AdSense Problem

As I use both Google AdSense and Google Adwords, I made a slight modification to my Adwords setup. I placed my homepage into the competitive add filter. Why you might ask? Because advertisements for my own homepage were appearing in my blog!

I am slightly concerned that Google AdSense seems to run out of advertisements sometimes on my blog. This leaves my blog with a blank ad unit, or a community notice. The small ad unit at the top of my blog is often affected. Sometimes it is even replaced with a search box saying 'search for ads on'. I wanted to see what its about, but unfortunately I am prohibited from clicking my own adverts.

Blair Keeley from work told me that he has setup his new FTA Digital Decoder in order to pick up Freeview. He told me that all he needed to do with his existing LNB was to adjust it until he picked up Freeview.

The final of Ultimate Force (Ultimate Farce?) is on tonight, so I plan to watch it. One of the few programs I have enjoyed on TV1, other than Spooks and a handful of other British programs.

Useless Information: During the Cambrian period, about 500 million years ago, a day was only 20.6 hours long.
